For a fee, one can take a dhow, a Mozambiquan sail boat, out to the islands from the mainland. On this particular day the old Salister engine was giving trouble, over heating or just complaining of an old injury. The two sailors were repairing her as we explored the island. By the afternoon she was thumping away again as we rode the waves back to the mainland. There were indescribable oranges that glowed in the sun off of their bodies and the salt rusted motor. Again the azure blues of the tropical water contrasted the oranges with radical opinion, making aggressive statements in the sun. It was the opposite of breaking down.
