Description
Hilton College 150th Two Organ Project
Hilton College is one of the few schools in South Africa boasting two organs on its campus. The newly acquired digital organ has been installed in the chapel to replace our 84-year-old pipe organ, which is destined for a state-of-the-art music centre due to open next term to serve the school and the broader Midlands community.
The organ project, providing two unique instruments – one in a concert hall and one in a sacred space – has been funded in large part by benefactor and organist Stephen Crookes.
